1. GBIME

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, GBIME  is the number one bank of Nepal based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 21,63,25,03,000 up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

2. NMB 

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, NMB bank secured the second position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 16,32,59,61,000 up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

3. NIB

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, NIB bank secured the third position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 16,25,73,30,000  up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

4. PCBL

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, PCBL bank secured the fourth position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 16,08,30,36,900  up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

5. MEGA

8. NBL

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, NBL bank secured the eighth position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 12,63,67,58,600 up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

9. CZBIL

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, CZBIL bank secured the ninth position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 12,57,69,23,115 up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

10. NICA

According to the report of the financial year ended 2077/78, NICA bank secured the tenth position based on paid-up capital. BANK  has paid-up capital of 11,56,40,05,366 up to the financial year ended 2077/78.

Since banks are directly regulated by the Nepal Rashtra BANK, There is a provision that every commercial bank should maintain minimum paid-up capital of eight Arab. similarly, every bank has to maintain a capital adequacy ratio of 10%. The bank with high paid-up capital is the safest place to invest for the long term because there will be less fluctuation in the market price of such shares and the so-called player of the market could not even shake it but before investing in such bank having high capital, all other indicators like EPS, P/E, PBV, ROE, BOOK VALUE future growth potential and all other important indicators shall be analyzed and take decision accordingly.
