you can open your DEMAT a/c with a depositary participant who has obtained a license from the securities board of Nepal. you can visit the nearest bank and a financial institution or merchant banks like Global IME Bank, Vision securities, and Global IME Capital respectively for creating DEMAT a/c.
- the next step is to fill and submit an account opening form, personal KYC, and Mero share form. Mero share is an online software by CDSC which facilitates the beneficiary to view your DEMAT details online.
- Obtain Mero share login credentials from the DP holder. You will need to fill out a different form for the credentials. Besides, you will also need your customer reference number (CRN), which will also be provided to you by the DP holder. Once you obtain it, you can log in to the Mero share platform from here.
Once you can log in to the Mero share through the web portal, you are ready to invest in the primary market. For that, you will need to wait for any openings of IPOs, FPOs, mutual funds, debentures, or bonds.
